I believe the best creative work starts with strong insights. The kind of insights that are rooted in the real beliefs that humans have. These ones might not be intuitive at first glance, but prove meaningful when we take the time to mine and uncover them.
As an associate creative director of copy, I work at the intersection of creative and strategy to form insights and translate them into ideas that perform. With experience both in agency and in-house settings, I draw not only from industries in tech, health care, wellness, food, and beauty, but also from my background in research and behavior economics — the latter of which has driven me to teach my dog to talk using buttons (yes, like the ones you see on TikTok).
But all of this adds up to crafting creative across digital, video, social, email, and print with an eye toward moving the audience and the bottom line. So, creative that not only looks and sounds great, but also increases conversions, awareness, and brand perception. Basically, whatever you’re looking to measure.
